About Nancy
Once upon a time, I danced my way through life as a Certified Jazzercise Instructor. My dream as a child was to be in the Olympics and it happened, but in another form. (Little did I know, The Law of Attraction was at work from childhood!) In 1984, I was honored to be a participant in the opening ceremonies for the Olympics LA 84 with 350 Jazzercise Instructors. In all, there were over 18,000 participants. Dreams do come true.
Since then, my career has enjoyed several reincarnations - so you might say that I have personal experience with transition and life change myself. Prior to becoming a transition coach, I was part of the corporate world—for 20 years. In that time, I garnered the knowledge and skills that would lead me to help organizations and individuals to experience breakthroughs and transformation both professionally and personally. I am a graduate of the University of San Francisco with a degree in Organizational Development.
Success Story
One of my greatest accomplishments “from the corporate side” was orchestrating a multi-faceted organizational development plan and program infrastructure for Mother Lode Holding Company (MLHC). MLHC is largest independent title and escrow company in California. This plan precluded the launch of a full scale human resources center handling benefit administration, employee relations and legal compliance for the entire company.
Highlights of this personal success included implementation of:
- a complete resource center for personal and professional growth
- extensive management training
- an internal mentoring program to fully train employees on company policy and procedures
- a communication pipeline between employees, legal and financial departments, company president and executives
This human resource initiative and coaching/mentoring program worked to foster a culture of education and awareness, ensuring that every employee of MLHC was (and is) offered the tools, training and motivation required to reach his or her full potential.
Shining the Light on Self-Discovery
Today, I’m able to transfer the experience gained as a Human Resources Director to the coaching industry. I’m thrilled to meet and know individuals from all different backgrounds and walks of life, each with their own idea of what happiness and success means to them. Together, we work toward making their dreams reality!
I do not see my job as being the one to infuse the magic that will help you achieve your goals. That’s because the magic is already there within you.
